Your profile

Your page: name, picture, headline, and what you are into right now.

Your profile is your page. It lives at /u/yourhandle, and it is what people see when they click your name. Everything on it is edited in Settings, under Profile.

What is on it

FieldWhat it is
NameWhat you are called. Shown everywhere you appear.
Profile imageUpload a picture with the button underneath — capped at 10 MB. It has to be a file you uploaded here rather than a link to somewhere else, so that your picture cannot be used to watch who looks at you.
HeadlineOne line under your name.
A little moreA longer paragraph about you, if you want one.
Right nowWhat you are into at the moment. See below — it works differently from the others.

Below those sits Top friends, and your posts appear underneath the lot. You can move all of that around; see Designing your page.

Right now

This is the part of a page that is worth keeping fresh, and it is built to be rewritten often. It is a list of blocks, each with a title and some lines under it — a record you cannot stop playing, a book, a project, somewhere you are going.

Give the block a title in What is it?, then write the lines in the box below. Separate each line with a blank line. That is what splits them: one blank line between two paragraphs makes them two bullets, and text with no blank lines in it stays one. Add something starts another block, and you can have up to 20.

Your address cannot be changed

The handle you picked when you signed up is permanent. It is in the link to your page and in every mention of you anyone has written, and there is no way to change it from inside the app. If you have a real reason to need a different one, write to us.

Top friends

A strip of people you pick, in the order you pick them, on your page. Edit it at the bottom of the Profile tab: Add someone from the list, use the arrows to order them, Remove to drop one. Up to 50.

It has its own Save top friends button, separate from the rest of Settings, so a change here does not need you to save anything else and does not save anything else for you.

You can only pick people who have already accepted you as a friend, and if you stop being friends with someone they disappear from the strip immediately — you do not have to come back and tidy up.

Not what you were after? Ask us, or ask for it to be built.
